Yup! That's me!
I used to be a Large Mammal Zookeeper at the San Antonio Zoo and a Bird and Primate Keeper at the Dallas World Aquarium!
Three more things you should know about me...
First and foremost, I'm a wife to a well-deserved Retired US Army Officer and a mother of two rambunctious boys and a little princess who always have me on my feet. Aren't they cute? Don't let them fool you - they're crazy! But hey, if I can handle tigers and monkeys, I can handle any kid!
Those who know me best say I'm a litte OCD and a slight perfectionist. I can usually spot something missing as soon as I walk into my room. I pay attention to every little detail which makes capturing newborns perfect for me!
My favorite type of sessions are anything outside in the fall during the golden hour just before sunset and a family's first portrait with their newborn baby!

"My daughter is not crazy about being in front of the camera, but Jessica was able to "draw her out" and captured some beautiful photos. I see the "essence" of my daughter when I look at the portraits, especially in her eyes. Since this is probably the last set of portraits I will get to have taken of my "baby," I am forever grateful to Jessica for her talent, technical eye for posing and back settings, and her patience. She takes the time to get the shot that best displays her subject and manages to make the process fun at the same time!" ~Sandy R.
